BHT Initial Assessment
Your BHT Initial Assessment is designed as a two‑step process to ensure a thorough and personalized approach:
Discovery Session (90 minutes)
Meet with Dr. Constantin—either in person or via Zoom—to review your medical history, symptoms, and goals. Following this session, you’ll receive your lab requisitions by email along with clear instructions for next steps. The service fee is due at this appointment.Planning Session (30 minutes)
Once your lab results have been reviewed and your personalized BHT treatment plan is prepared, you’ll be invited to a follow‑up session with Dr. Constantin. This can be held in person, by Zoom, or by phone. During this appointment, you’ll go over the recommendations in detail. Prescriptions will be provided for six months (prescription costs are billed separately).
Important Note: For the most accurate results, we recommend that women discontinue contraceptives at least 60 days before lab testing to better reflect natural hormone levels.
Please Note: Certain tests may involve additional fees payable directly to the laboratory. All testing will be reviewed and confirmed with you before Dr. C prepares any requisitions.
BHT Check-Ups
To keep your BHT treatment plan safe and effective, testing is required every 6 months to ensure safe hormone treatment.
How it works:
Step 1: Request Lab Requisitions
Email our team or call 403‑609‑7100 to request your BHT Check‑Up lab requisitions. These will be sent to you by email along with instructions for booking your lab appointment.Step 2: Review with Dr. Constantin
Once your lab results are received, you’ll be invited to a 30‑minute Check‑Up with Dr. Constantin—available in person, by Zoom, or by phone. During this session, your treatment plan will be reviewed and updated as needed. Prescriptions will then be issued for the next six months (prescription cost is extra).
Tip: Should you require extra medications until your BHT Check-Up, please contact the pharmacy to request a extension refill. Dr Constantin does not issue refills without a BHT Check-Up.
